The English Speech Competition at Xiwai Bilingual Middle School

This March, the English language department of the Xiwai Bilingual Middle School organized an English speech competition for our students. Participants across all four grades of the middle school worked diligently to write their own speeches and worked hard to memorize and practice their public speech. Many foreign teachers as well as Chinese English language teachers provided guidance and coaching to ensure the students were well prepared to delivery a strong and confident speech.

 All the students prepared and delivered excellent speeches following the prompts “Saving food, saving the world” and “in my eye,_____ is the bravest person.” Each student showed brilliant confidence and preparedness, as well as powerful emotion to present a message that clearly had a place in the heart of many of the students. All the teachers of the Xiwai Bilingual Middle School are very proud of the students who participated in the speech competition, we look forward to offering more and more events that allow our students to showcase their strengths in all areas of their academics.
