Xiwai Places 11th in Shanghai and 55th in China in Hurun’s latest Top International School list.

On June 16th 2022, Hurun Education released Hurun Education Top International Schools in China 2022, which is the fifth time that Hurun Education has released the rankings of Top International Schools in China. According to these latest assessments, our school ranks 11th in Shanghai and 55th in all of China.
Nomination of Listed Schools
Based on the reports of over 300 education specialists throughout China, Hurun conducted assessments of international schools from East China, North China, South China and West China, including schools for foreign children, private international schools and international departments of public schools. A total of 3889 valid votes were obtained (an increase of 67% over last year). On average, each expert nominated 11 schools, and a total of 680 schools were nominated (an increase of 97% over last year). The schools on the final list represent 24 cities in China, with an average of 13 years running time per school and a total number of 120, 000 students.
Evaluation Dimension
Hurun Education calculates the index score based on the number of votes of each school, combined with students’ college application result, extracurricular activities, faculty, and facilities.
Judges
80% of the judges are principals or senior teachers and 20% are investors of international schools, heads of educational institutions and educational groups.

Hurun, chairman and chief research officer of Hurun Baifu, said: "Our list of international schools in China is representative because more than 80% of the nearly 200 domestic school students who received offers from Ivy League universities last year came from our listed schools.".
