国际课程大纲

Introduction

  1. Orientation: a multi-cultural education with the quintessence of Chinese and     Western civilizations harmoniously integrated
  2. Concept: A variety of exercises are offered to enrich students’ studying experience, wherein the students’ creativity and enthusiasm are highly motivated, and their practical skills are effectively enhanced. A closely integrated course system based on fundamental courses continuously expanded aims at improving students’ studying methods and fields.
  3. Thoughts of Course Texture: The courses in International Department are conducted throughout 12 years which are broken into the following three phases: from 1st to 5th grade, from 6th to 9th grade, and from 10th to 12th grade. In each phase, with common fundamental courses as guidelines, extensive courses are added to meet needs of different students, and meanwhile details of research courses are suggested.

 

Course Objective

  1. Overall Objective: The courses aim at nurturing global citizens with ideals, ethics, knowledge and discipline. Firstly, to help students develop a healthy outlook on life, value and world as a whole, broaden their global vision, and strengthen their sense of patriotism, democracy, law and responsibility. Secondly, to equip students with the fundamental knowledge, skills and learning strategies useful for life-long study. Thirdly, to improve students’ creativity, practical skills and power of sustainable development. Fourthly, to better students’ humanitarian and scientific qualities. Fifthly, to cultivate a good personality, a sound mind and body, a healthy aesthetic taste and life style.
