Welcome to the Middle School.

Xiwai international School is a wonderful place for young people to learn and grow. The Middle School honours the physical, social, emotional and academic development of students aged 11-14.Middle School marks an important transition in a student’s life where independence and individuality advance. It is important that our students’ experience during this vital period is guided by dedicated personnel with progressive programming that support each student’s development, so they acquire the confidence to meet the challenges of independent and collaborative learning in an international and technologically-rich context.The pursuit of academic excellence will remain a central focus of the Middle School through the integrated curriculum. As well, a rich student life is present in a variety of opportunities in the arts, athletics, clubs, activities and leadership to ensure our students are engaged beyond the classroom.

    你们好!祝贺你们顺利完成小学五年的学习生活步入初中的大门。初中阶段是人一生中的一个重要转折点，是人的第二次蒙醒，在这一时期，你们会第一次清楚地认识自我，初步树立理想。从进入西外初中国际部大门那天起你们就不再是幼稚的儿童了，已经成为懂事情，守纪律，有理想的青少年了。不管小学时期你的经历如何，获得多少奖励和犯过多少错误，这都已经成为历史。现在，你们每一个人都站在同一起跑线上，都是一张崭新的“空白页”。至于在这张白纸上如何描绘，我想大家心里已经有了答案。初中学习和小学不一样，不仅知识程度加深加宽，而且学习方式也更趋向自主和自觉化。在这里，富有爱心和经验的中外教老师会带领你们遨游知识海洋，在创造性和多元化的学习模式中开发学习的潜能，收获成长的快乐。预祝同学们在初中时期过得非常充实而愉快，从而成为一生中最值得回忆的日子！
