Aurora · The Night Watch 平凡的伟大-西外高中生走上街头，近距离关注环卫工人

三个月前，西外高中国际课程部高一学生王越成萌生了一个想法——拍摄一部属于自己的记录片。于是，“曙光”项目应运而生。
他们的口号很简单：
“L'amour est une force de nature"
我们用爱，去灌溉这世界的一切不平等。
我们用爱，去抚平每一个伤者的内心。
最卑微的工资，往往铸就出最伟大的职业。
三个月后，他不负众望，带着《守夜人》向我们走来。
从谈判，踩点，选角到拍摄，收音，打光，再到剪辑，后期，配音。历时近三个月的拍摄，也算是一次收获。最终，凌晨三四点的上海和上海的《守夜人》透过他的镜头和笔尖呈现出来。
在拍摄之前，王越成采访了一些小朋友，但结果令他震惊。被采访对象对于环卫工人固化而又冷漠的思维更加坚定了他拍片的信念。
环卫工人已经不是一个新鲜的话题，但王越成的纪录片，与其说在歌颂，不如说是解惑，因为关于他们，我们有很多疑问：
他们每天这么早起床，是为了什么？
他们在扫些什么？真的有这么多垃圾要清理吗？
“我们靠自己的双手去干活”
“凭自己的能力去做好这个事情”
采访完后，王越成写下了这样一段话：
在这个城市，有人以制造废墟为生，有人以清理废墟为生。
而可笑的是，制造废墟的人，往往比清理废墟的人活得更好。
所以，在亲眼目睹环卫工人平凡的伟大之后，他们倡议：
不乱扔垃圾，其实没那么难。
多一些善意，其实也很简单。
学生团队的公益活动并没有到此结束，他们倡议更多的人加入进来，拍摄自己的记录片，关注那些不被关注，不被公平对待的默默的平凡人。

The Night Watch
3 months ago, Yuecheng Wang, Grade 10 student of Xiwai International School, had an idea-- shooting a documentary film that belongs to himself. Thus, here comes the project “Aurora”.
Their slogan is quite simple:
“L'amour est une force de nature"
Let's irrigate all inequalities in this world, with love.
Let’s heal every heart-breaker, with love.
After 3 months, he brings the documentary<The night watch> to us.
Before shooting the documentary, Yuecheng Wang had some interviews with kids, the results shocked him a lot. The interviewee have really solid and indifferent thoughts and stereo type of the sanitation workers. This firms more of his belief shooting the documentary.
Sanitation worker is not a new topic, however, the documentary of Yuecheng Wang, is rather explaining than eulogizing. Because we have so many questions about sanitation workers:
Why they wake up so early, what for?
What are they cleaning? Are there so many garbage to be cleaned?
“I have nothing but our age as my ability, young generation such as a university student has knowledge, they won’t do this inferior job, I have nothing but age as my ability”
After the interview, he wrote :
In this city, someone makes a living by creating garbage,
while someone makes a living by cleaning garbage.
What’s funny, is the people who create garbage, always live better than those who cleaning the garbage.
Having saw the great achievements made by ordinary sanitation workers, they advocate:
No littering, is not that difficult.
More kindness, is quite easy.
It’s not the end of students’ charity, they advocate more people to join it, to shoot their own documentary, to cast an eye on those ordinary people who are treated unfairly.
