Please specify on the tear-off form below to be returned to your child’s homeroom teacher whether you prefer to read the Xi Wai Star on-line on our Website, to receive a printed copy, or to receive an email copy. Remember, we would like to save paper!
¨ Please remind all students to walk! No running allowed in classrooms, hallways, or corridors! Every school in the Western World enforces this basic rule of safety – So can Xi Wai !
¨ One week into the new school year, pupils have chosen their Afternoon Activities, such as dancing, cartoon imaging, musical instruments and calligraphy (34 in all ) for the elementary school kids; creative thinking training ( English ), classical reading of Chinese and English literature, drama entertainment, sketch drawing and martial arts ( 48 in all ) for middle and high schools.
¨ Our English teachers – both foreign and local – will be attending planning and training workshops to coordinate and intensify the English language acquisition of our students. Look for new materials and approaches to teaching English!
¨ Beginning next week, every teacher and staff member will have a new email box as part of our school-wide email system. Parents can contact teachers through their new school email address, or send emails to XiWaiInternationalSchool@xw.sjedu.cn.
¨ Please remember there is NO SMOKING ALLOWED anywhere on campus. This goes for staff, parents, and visitors – as well as students, of course!
