西外初高中国际部2019-2020学年秋季趣味运动会
秋风送爽，稻谷飘香。蝉鸣声渐消渐隐匿，声声催秋意阑珊。在这充满收获的金秋十月，我们全体师生，满怀喜悦之情，以饱满的精神状态，迎来了我们初高中国际部2019-2020学年秋季趣味运动会。
October 31st was a day long anticipated by students of the International Middle and High School division - Sports Day. Students began the day full of joy and excitement as they prepared to compete on the athletic field. Teachers and students arrived at the big open playground early in the morning and performed a great opening ceremony which showcased their discipline and training.
精彩回顾
After the ceremony concluded, Sports Day officially began with the 100 meter race. From the moment the first starting gun fired, the cheering never stopped. Students fully displayed their passion for sport, their desire to win glory for their homerooms, their striving, competitive spirit, and their sense of teamwork. There were also loud cheers and tears of joy whenever a victory was won. The excitement reached a fever pitch when the students competed in the tug of war and the 4 *100 meter relay race.
Sports Day would not have been complete without the active participation of both Chinese and foreign teachers. All the students witnessed how the teachers also competed with great fun and spirit. Chinese teacher Huanghao impressed everyone by not giving up running even after he had seriously fallen down and hurt himself.
The Sports Day finally ended with students and teachers celebrating their happiness and success together.
绵阳交杂的十月底，运动会间隙交杂着同学们的光荣与挫败，花繁柳密的加油声，喝彩声，笑声，回荡在偌大的校园里、操场上，惊了燕雀，醒了艳阳，也敲击在了西外师生们的心头间。
赛场上的运动健儿，是鲲鹏击水，抟扶摇迎风展，直升千般踏云间。开幕式上，各班运动健儿次序入场，他们不骄不馁，书写文雅得体；不卑不亢，诠释着淡泊明志。从他们的步伐中，看出来的是信念是厚积薄发的力量；从他们的口号中，听出来的是嘹亮飞扬的风华少年。
运动场上的孩子们，有光，明而不耀，与光同尘。他们说，青山是否妩媚还须看青山是谁；她们说，班级的凝聚心和同心力都在秋阳艳艳里。可还有一些孩子摇头，即使在运动场休息的间隙，他们依然不敢慵懒，见书中众山皆青山，静默地埋头于书间。
他们有些许傲气，有些许失落，有些许豪气，也有些许紧张。哪个青葱少年，心中没有个武侠江湖？阳光正好，趁着十月，在运动场上，挥洒下青春的汗水，成就自己的江湖。
男子、女子4*100比赛，男女五人绕杆跑，跳长绳比赛，拔河比赛，男子1000米，女子800米长跑比赛，这些荡气回肠却又有趣的比赛，让每个学生都甘愿为之一搏。在赛道上奔跑的他们，犹如矫健的雄鹰，飞驰在群山峻岭之中。恰同学少年，风华正茂，挥斥方遒！
秋天属于桂花，属于云朵，属于每一位运动员，也属于每一位老师。参加4*100接力赛的中外教们在学生热情的期盼下隆重登场。他们各个摩拳擦掌跃跃欲试。九年级黄浩老师在摔到以后，仍旧继续爬起奔跑。前方追逐的不仅是师师传递交接的接力棒，更是守护一朵又一朵的童心的师
不必行色匆匆，不必成为别人，也不必着急长大。在秋季趣味运动会上，西外初高中国际部的孩子们都成功地做了自己。秋气掀动心绪，在晨升夕照里，孩子们学会了慷慨地面对失败和荣辱。后来我们才明白，他们眼里，始终绽放出光的样子。
在这个深秋，我们终于知道，孩子们身上有一个不可战胜的夏天！
