爱劳动，惜粮食

为了更好地培养学生热爱大自然和保护我们赖以生存的环境，进一步珍惜我们有限的粮食资源，让孩子养成绿色低碳的生活习惯，提升学生的综合素质和爱党爱国的政治素养，2021年11月10日上午，天朗气清，惠风和畅，西外高中国际部在上海市金山区山阳田园开展了“爱自然，护环境，爱劳动，惜粮食”的研学活动。

On the morning of November 10, 2021, Xiwai International High School students took part in a field trip to Shanyang Garden, Jinshan District, Shanghai. Students learned valuable lessons on environmental protection, how to cherish limited food sources, develop green and low-carbon living habits, and appreciate the agricultural and economic efforts of the communist party.

同学们一路欢歌笑语，于上午9点顺利抵达了目的地——金山山阳田园。

在这里，我们聆听了当地党员爷爷绘声绘色讲述他小时候的成长历程（艰辛的童年铸就了坚毅的品格，发奋读书改变命运，最终成长为一名光荣的优秀党员，为家乡的改变做出了重要贡献）。陆素红老师就农村的变迁与发展和中国共产党领导下的新农村建设给同学们做了培训与介绍。高一谈玉萍同学发表了“热爱劳动珍惜粮食从我做起”的倡议发言。最后在老师们的带领下，全体师生现场进行了保护自然、热爱劳动、爱惜粮食庄严承诺和宣誓。

Here, students listened to the story of a local communist party member, who regaled students with tales from his childhood; how it taught him a strong work ethic and how to contribute positively to his community.

Miss Lu gave a training and introduction to the students on the changes and development of rural areas and the construction of new rural areas under the leadership of the Communist Party of China. Yuping Tan, student representative of grade 10, made a speech on the initiative of "Cherish crops and love doing labor". Finally, under the leadership of teachers, all teachers and students took an oath to protect nature, and cherish food.

丰收的稻田里，稻浪滚滚，谷穗飘香。当日下午，老师给同学们进行了水稻知识科普，包括水稻田现场科普讲解、水稻生长过程、种植方法及收获方式等，同时带同学们学习了传统收割、脱粒手法，安全宣导等，最后同学们亲手制作了稻谷许愿瓶。

In the fields, the rice waves are rolling and the grains are fragrant. In the afternoon, students were taught about planting, threshing, and harvesting, as well as making their own rice bottle, a fitting souvenir of their experience.

沐浴着阳光，尽享海风拂过的惬意，为了更好的促进同学间的交流，加深同学们之间的感情，培养学生团结向上的精神和用心乐观的生活态度，同学们现场进行了丰富的田园趣味游戏。

Bathing in the sunshine, enjoying the sea breeze, students play games and work in teams, perfectly embodying the spirit of unity.

最后，同学们从工具认知到刨木头再到铺砖头、接电线，同学不亦乐乎的体验了田园工匠生活之后，同学们在余味缭绕中乘车返程。

下午3点，我们的“爱自然，护环境，爱劳动，惜粮食”的山阳研学结束了。但同学们却依依不舍，我们所有师生将永远享受这次活动中体验到的快乐、幸福，并把在田园里继承的宝贵精神财富会持续传承下去。也希望我们西外的学子们在以后的生活中树立牢固的劳动意识，培养自己劳动技能；同时在生活中低碳生活，节约资源，节约粮食，珍惜劳动成果；并立志多做环保公益，能担当起实现中华民族伟大复兴的历史重任。

After a long day of hard work and teamwork, students learned a lot about how to live a low carbon life, save resources, save food, cherish the fruits of labor; And determined to do more environmental protection public welfare, and finally make the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation come true.
